When developing and designing websites, we adopt a hands-on Scrum approach. We work in short sprints with our customers and developers. It's important for your people to be a part of our team. That way, we can quickly get feedback, process it, finalize the sprint in question, and move on to the next.
We like to use several tools for design purposes, such as Figma (which helps us create a pixel perfect website) and Markup (which allows you and us to systematically process feedback). For project management purposes, we use Trello and Slack. You’ll be invited to join the team so you’ll be involved in every step of the process (that is, if you want to, of course!). Curious about those steps? We’ll briefly explain them below!
1. Strategy first
Which brand strategy and marketing strategy do you want to incorporate into your website? If you work with us, that's the first question we'll ask. We'll carefully map out the answer to make sure your website will be more than an online business card. For besides generating traffic, it should result in conversion.
2. Creation and testing time
The next step is to create a wireframe, content, and a prototype so we can test your website among your target audience.
3. Toward a front end in sprints
Finally, we'll build a front-end design that seamlessly fits your back end. To this end, we usually work in sprints. After a kickoff with the design team, we go through all phases step by step. We deliver pages after every sprint so we can easily test them.
4. Continuous monitoring and improvement
After the website has gone live, we’ll continue to monitor, test, and optimize it — for a website is never truly finished!
